Carpet Cleaning FAQs

On average it will take 4-6 hours to dry after cleaning is complete. This will change based upon the thickness of the carpet and the weather conditions.

Your carpets will not get dirty faster after being professionally cleaned by our carpet cleaners, and we guarantee that there will be no sticky residue left after our cleaning process is complete. Our process includes pre-spraying your carpets and rinsing them out with chemical-free steam that is chemical free. This way, we leave your carpets fresh with very little cleaning agents left behind.

This depends on the type of odor and whether it’s impacting the carpet, carpet pad, or sub floor underneath. Our company is certified in odor elimination, and we have extensive training in the science of odors and odor elimination. In most instances, we are able to eliminate the odor. Please feel free to ask us questions regarding this service and how we can help.

It’s recommended that your carpets be professionally cleaned at least once a year, whether it’s during spring cleaning, in preparation for the holidays, or during the fall after summer wear and tear.

Tile and Grout Cleaning FAQs

You can walk on it immediately if the tile was cleaned. However, we recommend staying off your tile flooring for 1-2 hours if your grout was sealed.

Hot water and a scrub brush alone may be able to clean your grout but to increase the effectiveness of this method, add about 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide, and a teaspoon of dish soap to your bucket of water.

Vinegar is a common home remedy cleaner, but we highly recommend you do not use it to clean your tile and grout without diluting it because it may discolor your floors.

Bleach without dilution is also not recommended to clean your tile or grout as it can result in fading the color, making it uneven, or even weakening the grout causing it to crack and crumble.

A weekly or bi-weekly cleaning in regularly used areas may be necessary for keeping your tile and grout clean.

Add 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide, and a teaspoon of dish soap to a hot bucket of water. Then use a scrub brush and the solution to whiten and clean your tile and grout.

Clean's Magic Eraser is deemed safe for use on grout by the company. However, it is an abrasive product, so avoid using them on delicate surfaces such as marble or granite countertops. The eraser may damage the sealant and make the countertop appear dull.

Upholstery Cleaning FAQs

Using a slipcover is the best way to protect the upholstered fabric. We also recommend stain protectants for certain furniture and sell products on location as well. Please contact us for additional details on which products are best for your upholstery.

First, brush your furniture with a stiff comb to ensure crumbs, dust, and debris have been cleaned off before applying any liquid cleaning solutions. Then sprinkle baking soda in an inconspicuous area of the sofa to be certain the powder won't discolor or damage your furniture and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Learn more tips on how to keep your furniture clean.

Mix one cup of warm water, 1/4 cup of white vinegar, and a tablespoon of Castile soap or a mild detergent. Then put the mixture inside a spray bottle or a bowl and apply this to a small test area of your furniture before applying entirely to ensure no discoloration occurs.

Mold FAQs

We don’t determine a flower type just by its color, nor do we look at mold and determine what it is by color.

Some people are more susceptible to mold related sicknesses. Some factors are age as well as length of time exposed to mold. Different immune diseases affect this as well. If you are concerned about your health due to mold, we recommend contacting your doctor and explaining your concern.

This myth is extremely harmful because it puts people’s health at risk. Bleach bleaches mold, it will not kill all the mold. Some mold will die for sure, but not enough to risk your health. Not long ago, a customer of ours ended up in the hospital because of the fumes from bleach that he used to try and eliminate mold.

In order to thrive, mold requires a warm environment of about 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit, organic material to feed on, and moisture. While you can’t do much to control the temperature or organic materials, you can regulate moisture and humidity. Mold can begin growing 24-48 hours after an area is wet, which is one of the most important reasons to have water damage cleaned up and dried as soon as possible.  For tips on preventing mold in your carpet, here is a helpful article.
